Eco Friendly

Surf Garage Art Collective is a small home run eco friendly business. All the artwork is printed on demand in the Canary Islands on eco-friendly fine art paper and shipped to you in re-cycled paper tubes.

History

"Surf Garage" was founded in 2022 as a first of its kind self-service surf board storage facility in the city of Las Palmas on the island of Gran Canaria. It allowed surfers who live in the suburbs to store their boards and wetsuits in a safe comfortable space close to the waves. You can simply show up, change, grab your board and go surf. Come back take a nice hot shower and go grab a coffee in the city. No need to walk your surfboard 10 miles with a dripping wet wetsuit on.

We always had lots of artwork from local artists hanging on our walls. Tons of people always kept asking us if they could buy the stuff.

So in 2023 Sam (the owner) decided to combine his three passions: surf, photography and web development. And the idea of Surf Garage Art Collective was born. He wanted to showcase his photopraphy and also give other artists a chance to showcase their work. After a year of on and off coding, Surf Garage Art Collective was finally launched on 1 Jan 2024.
